By signing up you can view your bills, submit claims, check the status of those claims and much more. Here’s a more thorough list of why you should sign up for our member site.

If you haven’t done so already, register with these steps.  

  • Visit
  • Click “Sign in” at the top of the page and select “Plan members” from the drop-down menu (please note that our member site works best on the most recent version of your Internet browser).
  • Create your login ID and password.

Looking for something a little smaller? The Alberta Blue Cross® My Benefits app will hit the spot when you’ve got bigger and better things to do.

From the comfort of your car or couch, use the mobile app to

  • submit claims,
  • sign up for direct deposit,
  • check the status of claims,
  • access the drug look up tool, and
  • use the direct-bill provider look-up.

The Alberta Blue Cross® My Benefits App is available on app stores for Android and Apple.

Now for the meat of our menu: online claiming. If you haven’t already adopted this feature, we suggest giving it a try—what better time than now when everyone is staying home.

You can submit 100 per cent of health claims online. That’s everything from massage and physiotherapy to vision, dental and emergency items like an ambulance visit, walking cast or brace. 

Here’s how:

On a desktop

  • Sign in to the member site.
  • Go to the top right menu and hit ‘claims’. Then select ‘submit a claim’ from the drop-down menu.
  • Follow the guided steps to submit your claim.

On a mobile device

  • Sign in to the member site or mobile app.
  • Select ‘submit a claim’.
  • Completed the guided steps and submit your claim.
